Josh had a rough childhood as he suffered from a disorder called Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) – a condition mostly characterized by a short attention span – which led to a lack of academic success, amongst other things.

The short film gives a first-hand account of a high school student (Max) who must choose between making better grades or accepting his poor health challenge and poor grades. Josh Ovalle released his next work in 2017 titled Spendtime Palace: Sonora which he wrote and directed with Finn Wolfhard – who is best known for his role in Stranger Things. Some of his other works include The Norwegian Vampire Film as a producer and he also appeared in The Aubreys: Loved One musical video in 2020.
