When it comes to HGTV household names, Christina Hall is definitely one of them. After being the star of Flip or Flop for 10 seasons, Hall has moved on to solo projects like the HGTV show Christina on the Coast which premiered in 2019.
Today, we're taking a closer look at Christina Hall's bank account. How much is the real estate investor/television personality worth in 2022 — and just how much does she get paid per episode? Keep on scrolling to find out!
What Is Christina Hall's Net Worth?
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Christina Hall is estimated to have a net worth of $25 million. Prior to her fame, Christina Hall (previously known as Haack), ran the real-estate agency Tarek and Christina: The El Moussa Group together with her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa.
With El Moussa, Christina Hall launched the HGTV show Flip or Flop in 2013 — and it quickly became one of the network's biggest hits.
El Moussa and Hack (who have three children together) separated in 2017 and their divorce was finalized in 2018. The two announced their separation with a joint statement.
"Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage. We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed," the couple said. "During the process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be. We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together."
After their split, El Moussa and Hack continued working on the show together until spring 2022. "We shot the pilot in summer of 2011, so we've been doing this for a really long time," El Moussa told People at the time. "It's part of who we are and what we do, and for us to just throw everything away, it just wasn't worth it."
"The series made it through ups and downs, and trust me it wasn't always easy," Christina Hall told People. "I'm looking forward to my next chapter and working in positive, fun and creative environments. I'm ready to let go of the stress and enjoy life and all it has to offer."
The host and real estate investor admitted that she is incredibly proud of Flip or Flop. "I will be forever grateful to have had a series for a decade," Hall admitted. "It's a huge accomplishment and everyone who worked on the show should be very proud."
How Much Does Christina Hall Make Per Episode?
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Christina Hall managed to increase her earnings by quite a bit. In the early seasons of Flip or Flop, Hall earned $10,000 per episode. That means that per season, Hall earned approximately $130,000.
In Season 3 of the show, Christina Hall got paid $40,000 per episode, which comes up to approximately $600,000 per season.
In 2019, Christina Hall's salary got increased to $50,000 per episode. That year, the television personality launched her own HGTV show called Christina on the Coast, and with 10 episodes in season one Hall earned approximately $500,000.
While it is unclear whether Christina Hall's salary per episode increased since 2019, it's safe to say that the real estate investor earns over half a million for each season of Christina on the Coast. As of writing, Christina on the Coast has three seasons.
In the spring of 2022, Christina Hall announced a new show titled Christina in the Country which will follow the star as "she expands her design business across the country while also making a second home on her Tennessee farm."
"Now, Christina, who always lived an active, outdoor lifestyle in Southern California, will create even more life-long memories with her three children and husband Josh Hall in Tennessee," the HGTV release statement said.
Christina also released a statement of her own announcing how excited she is for the upcoming show. "I am so excited and grateful Christina in the Country has officially been picked up," Hall said. "I love that I get the best of both worlds — the coast and the country. It’s an incredible opportunity to get to work in Tennessee, our home away from home."
It's safe to say that with the release of an additional show, Christina Hall's net worth will only increase. While her pay per episode of Christina in the Country isn't known yet, it's hard to believe that it would be any less than $50,000.
Considering that Christina Hall has an estimated net worth of $25 million, it's not surprising that the television personality likes investing her money into homes — especially since she's a real estate investor. In August 2021, Hall purchased a $2.5 million home in Nashville, as well as a $10.3 million mansion in Dana Point, California.
